EAEU export of food products and agricultural raw materials rise by 19%
Recent research shows that in 2020 EAEU exports of food products and agricultural raw materials to non-EAEU countries accounted for 29.8 billion US dollar which is 19% higher than in 2019. Russia and Belarus are at the top of the ratings, with a 21.2% rise of export from Russia and a 35% – from Belarus.
Meawhile, import to the EAEU from non-EAEU states descreased by 5.5% and export – by 20.8%.
The main extenal EAEU partners are EU countries and China, with their overall share of export shipments mounting to 54% and 61% of imports accordingly.
There was also an increase in shares of APEC (from 34.1% in 2019 to 36.4% in 2020) and CIS (from 4.9% to 5.3%) counrtries in the EAEU turnover.
