State Registration Certificate (SGR) is a document that confirms product safety and compliance with single sanitation, epidemiological and hygienic standards. It is a mandatory permitting document for manufacturers and importers within EAEU market area.

Often referred to as Hygiene Certificate or SGR this document proves that the product meets the existing safety rules. One certificate can cover only one product type that goes under the same HS code. SGR might have either 5-year or unlimited validity period, depending on the product. 

It is worth mentioning that any company can use the SGR even if it is neither an Applicant or Manufacturer. The certificate is ussed for certain products proving their safety and it doesn't matter what entity will make use of it. 

However, there is one rule you should know about: only a company registered in the EAEU can apply for SGR. In case a foreign Manufacturer decides to obtain it they should have an Authotized representative.
