What products are subject to 005/2011 CU TR certification?
There is a list of products subject to 005/2011 CU TR certification.
1. This Technical Regulation is applicable to all packaging types (including caps) considered finished products, that are used on the EAEU territory (regardless of products’ country of origin).
2. All mentioned products are subject to articles 2,4,5, 9 and points 1,2 of article 6 of 005/2011 Technical Regulation.
3. This Technical Regulation sets forth obligatory requirements for packaging, its keeping, transporting and disposing. These rules are primarily established to protect human health and well-being., environment and animal health as well as prevent actions that would mislead consumers as to product functions and safety.
4. Packaging can be of the following types (depending on the material):
- metal;
- polymer;
- paper or carton;
- glass;
- wood;
- of combined materials;
- textile;
- ceramic
5. Caps can be of the following types (depending on the material):
- metal;
- cork;
- polymer;
- of combined material
- carton
6. This Technical Regulation doesn’t cover packaging for medical devices, medicine, pharmaceutical products, tobacco products or dangerous goods.
