007/2011 CU TR | Open Cert

1. This Technical Regulation (TR) includes new products for children and adolescents that enter EAEU market (regardless of product’s country of origin).
This TR covers the following types of products:
-children care products (nipples, dishes, eating utensils, haberdashery, toothbrushes, gum massagers)
-clothes, items made of textile, leather, fur, knitted product, ready-made textile goods
-footwear, leather or man-made haberdashery
-baby carriages, bicycles
-books, magazines, school supplies
Requirements of the CU TR are stipulated in the Annex 1.
This TR doesn’t cover:
-products made for medical purposes
-products for child nutrition
- perfumes and costmetics
-sport equipment, sport requisites
-textbooks, electronic textbooks
-toys, table games
-furniture, bespoke products
2. This TR sets obligatory requirements to chemical, biological, thermic safety of products for children and adolescents. It focuses on protecting children’s and adolescents’ health and well-being as well as preventing actions that can mislead customers as to products’ safety and quality.
