010/2011 CU TR | safety of machinery | Open Cert

1. This TR covers machinery and equipment to be sold or used on EAEU territories.
2. This TR sets forth basic requirements to safety of machinery (equipment) when used, produced, assembled, adjusted, transported and disposed. The Regulation is primarily aimed at protecting human and animal health, preserving environment and preventing actions that can mislead customers as to product safety and functions.
3.This TR includes machinery and equipment that pose threats described in Annex 1 and 2 to be eliminated or reduced.
4. This TR doesn’t include the following types of equipment and machines:
- that ensure stability and integrity of communication networks using radio frequency
- that are used for medical purposes and have direct contact with human body (X-ray, diagnostic, therapeutic, orthopedic, dental, surgical equipment)
- that are meant for work with nuclear energy
- wheeled vehicles expect for the equipment installed in them
- marine and river vehicles (ships and equipment used on them)
- aircrafts, spaceships
- railway vehicles and devices designed for use on railway vehicles
- amusement rides
- armament, weaponry;
- equipment for physically-challenged persons;
- agricultural and forest tractors and wagons, except for equipment installed in them;
- drilling platforms, except for equipment used on them.
5. This TR cover equipment and machines used on dangerous industrial objects.
6. If equipment or machines pose threats described in other CU Technical Regulations, compliance of conformity to them is also mandatory.
7. Along with product description, technical specifications and other documents, standards listed in item 1, article 6 can be used to identify type of equipment or machine.
8. Additional requirements to safety of certain equipment or machinery types are specified in Annex 2.

3. Garage equipment for vehicles and wagons
4. Agricultural machinery
5. forest and garden mechanized equipment (icluding electrical)
6. Machinery for animal, poultry breeding, feed production
7. Mechanized tools (including electrical)
8. Equipment for timber-cutting
- gas-powered saws;
- electrical chainsaw
9. Equipment for public sales, catering
10. Equipment for surface mining
- removing combines;
- shaft lining
- pneumatic tools
11. Equipment for underground mining:
- combines for mining coal and rock;
- shaft-lining for preparatory output
12. Equipment for shaft lifts and mine transport:
- scraper conveyor;
- belt conveyors;
- mining hoists
13. Equipment for drilling boreholes and wells
- rotary hammers
- pneumatic tools;
- drilling rigs in mining industry;
- drilling rigs
14. Venting and dust control equipment:
- mine ventilation devices
- dust collection and control systems;
- oxygen compressors
15. Lifting equipment, cranes

13. Equipment for flame cleaning and metallizing
14. Gas and dust collecting equipment
15. Pulp and paper equipment
16. Paper-making equipment
17. Oilfield equipment, drilling geological exploration
18. Technological equipment and devices for applying paint and varnish coatings to mechanical engineering products.
19. Equipment for liquid ammonia
20. Water purifying equipment

- milling cutters with multi-faceted hard-metal inserts;
- cutting and slotting cutters of high-speed steel;
- hard metal milling cutters
53. Tool bits:
- turning tool bits with carbide-tipped inserts
- turning tool bits with multi-faceted carbide-tipped inserts
54. Circular saws with carbide-tipped inserts for processing wood materials
55. Machinist’s kit with insulating handles for work with electrical devices with voltage up to 1000
56. Shell milling cutters:
- wood milling cutters with recessed teeth
- wood milling cutters with steel or carbide knives;
- mounted cylindrical cutters.
57. Tool made of natural or synthetic diamonds:
- diamond grinding wheels;
- diamond grinding cut-off wheel
58. Tools made of synthetic superhard materials based on boron nitride (tool from borazon):
- grinding wheels
59. Industrial pipeline fittings
60. Abrasive tools, abrasive materials:
- grinding wheels, including for hand tools;
- cut-off wheels;
- polishing wheels;
- polishing flap wheels
- endless grinding belts;
- grinding fiber discs
