What products are subject to 014/2011 CU TR certification?
1. This Technical Regulations (TR) is intended to ensure human health, preserve environment, prevent misleading actions in the process of road design, construction, reconstruction, overhaul and use.
2. This TR sets forth general requirements to roads safety and procedures of their design, construction, reconstruction, overhaul and use. Apart from that, the TR specifies ways of conforming compliance with the stipulated rules.
3. Provisions for road safety arise from international agreements and regulations of EAEU member-states and also this TR.
4. This TR covers public roads (under construction, overhaul, in use) and related facilities and also sets requirements to procedures of their construction, overhaul and use.
5. This TR doesn’t cover private roads such as industrial roads, temporary roads or roads located in restricted zones and constructed for defense or sport purposes as well as city streets.
6. Public road is conceived as object accommodated for motor traffic. Roads can be divided into 4 types on the following grounds:
а) how vehicles can access them;
б) number of traffic lanes, their width;
в) if there’s a median strip;
г) types of intersections (with other roads, railway, tram lines, bicycles and pedestrian lanes)
Names of all public roads in EAEU are supposed to contain names of starting and finishing points (and sometimes intermediary), index and number. Numbers and indexes are set according to international agreements.
