      What products are subject to 016/2011 CU TR certification?


      1. This Technical Regulation (TR) includes gas-powered equipment that enters EAEU markets.
      2. Gas-powered equipment is conceived as:
      а) cooking, heating, water supply equipment;
      b) burners, gas-using equipment with automatic burners
      c) built-in devices
      3. This TR provides for requirements to gas-powered equipment, listed in Annex 1.
      4. This TR doesn’t cover the following types of gas-powered equipment:
      а) steam boilers with a steam pressure of more than 0.07 MPa and heating water boilers with a water temperature of more than 115 ° C;
      b) equipment for industrial use, except for equipment in Annex 1
      c) equipment that uses gas as engine oil
      5. Distinctive features of gas-powered equipment include:
      а) name, model and function;
      b) type of gas and its nominal pressure;
      c) nominal heat rate;
      d) voltage and current frequency (for plug-in gas-powered equipment)
      6. To classify a product as gas-powered equipment it’s necessary to consider features described in item 5, article 1 of the TR and compare them with features of the equipment stated on the package, marking and in the documents.
      7. This TR lays down requirements to gas-powered equipment to protect human health and well-being, preserve wildlife and prevent actions that can mislead customers as to product safety and also ensure product’s energy-efficiency.
