What products are subject to 017/2011 CU TR certification?
1. This Technical Regulation (TR) covers light industry products that enter EAEU markets.
2. Light industry products include:
- textile materials;
- knitwear;
- machine-made carpets and rugs;
- leather and textile accessories;
- felt and non-woven fabric;
- footwear;
- fur items;
- leather items;
- man-made leather
3. List of products subject to certification according to this TR is presented in Annex 1.
4. This TR doesn’t cover the following types of products:
- second-hand;
- bespoke;
- for medical purposes;
- special items used as protective gear or material for it;
- for children and adolescents;
- textile packaging materials, fabric bags;
- souvenirs;
- sport gear for sport teams;
- fancy dress accessories (wigs, fake moustache, beard, etc.)
5. Types of clothing layers:
First-layer clothes includes items that have a direct contact with human body such as: underwear, bed linen, swimming suits, socks and tights, handkerchiefs, summer headdresses, etc.
Second-layer clothes includes items that don't have a direct contact with human body such as dresses, blouses, shirts, skirts, trousers, sweaters, gloves and warm socks and tights (for winter).
Third-layer clothes include items to be worn over second-layer clothes such as coats, jackets, cloaks, etc.
EAC Declaration is issued for: second and third-layer clothes, fur clothes, headdresses, footwear.
EAC Certificate is issued for: bed linen, first-layer clothes.
