What products are subject to 018/2011 CU TR certification?
1. This Technical Regulation (TR) lays down requirements to all wheeled vehicles that enter EAEU markets (regardless of their country of origin). The rules primarily focus on ensuring human health and well-being as well as preventing actions that can mislead customers of vehicle’s safety and qualities.
2. The TR 018/2011 sets rules to the following vehicles: of categories L, M, N, O for use on public roads and components of these vehicles that influence their safety. The list of documents is presented in Annex 1.
3. The TR doesn’t cover vehicles:
1) that have peak speed of 25 km/h;
2) that are intended for sport competitions;
3) of categories L and M1 manufactured 30 years ago or more, of categories M2, M3 and N which are not intended for passenger or cargo transportation, that were manufactured 50 years ago or more, with original engine and body;
4) that enter to EAEU for the period of 6 months or less and that are liable to special customs rules;
5) that enter EAEU as personal property and belong to a natural entity that receive government support to move to another country or that are assumed refugees or forced to move to another country;
6) that belong to employees (and their families) of diplomatic and consular services, international (interstate) organizations that enjoy legal privileges according to international laws;
7) off-road heavy vehicles
4. This TR doesn’t cover components for vehicles lists in sub-paragraphs 1,2,3,5 and paragraph 3.
5. EAEU member states are eligible to ban distribution of vehicles delivered on defense order.
