1. This Technical Regulation (TR) lays down requirements to meat and meat products that enter EAEU markets. The rules primarily focus on ensuring human health and well-being, preserving wildlife as well as preventing actions that can mislead customers of products’ safety and qualities.
2. The TR 034/2013 sets requirements to:
-meat;
-meat by-products;
-tallow;
-blood;
-bones;
-meat products (including products for children)
-meat production, storage, transportation, marketing, disposal
4. This CU TR doesn’t apply to:
а) meat products made in private households for personal consumption
b) special-purpose meat products (except for those for children)
c) poultry meat
d) dietary and biological supplements, animal food, medicine that contain meat products
e) food for catering
f) products with meat content lower than 5%
